Yainely and Javier’s engagement session was equal parts romantic, playful, and adventurous and Coral Cove Park in Jupiter, Florida gave us the perfect setting for all three.

From barefoot walks along the sand to crashing waves against the rocks, their session quickly became less about posing for photos and more about simply enjoying the moment together.

With its beautiful shoreline, natural rock formations, ocean views, and crashing waves, Coral Cove gave us an incredible setting to create a mix of romantic portraits, candid moments, and a little adventure along the way.

A Beach Engagement Session at Coral Cove Park

For their engagement photos, Yainelys and Javier kept everything simple and timeless. Their neutral wardrobe worked beautifully against the blues of the Atlantic and the warm tones of the rocks, allowing the focus to stay exactly where it belonged—on the two of them.

We started with relaxed portraits along the beach, giving them time to walk, laugh, and get comfortable in front of the camera. Rather than making every photograph feel overly posed, I wanted to give them direction while still leaving room for the natural interactions between them.

And they made that part easy.

As the session continued, we moved closer to the rocky shoreline that makes Coral Cove Park such a unique engagement photo location in Jupiter. The wind picked up, the waves started rolling in, and Yainelys’ dress brought an incredible amount of movement to the photographs.

When the Ocean Decides to Join the Photoshoot

Of course, if you take engagement photos this close to the beach, eventually the ocean is going to have something to say about it.

And it did.

The waves came in, the clothes got wet, and instead of fighting it, Yainelys and Javier went with it. Those ended up being some of my favorite photographs from the session.

There’s a point during a photoshoot when people stop thinking about the camera and simply start enjoying themselves. That’s always what I’m looking for. The laughter, movement, little looks at each other, and unexpected moments are often what make the photographs feel the most personal.

We also slowed things down for some more intimate portraits and details, including a few photographs highlighting Yainelys’ engagement ring against the soft colors of the ocean.

Why Coral Cove Park Is Great for Engagement Photos

Coral Cove Park is one of my favorite locations for engagement photography in Jupiter because you get much more than a traditional Florida beach.

The combination of sand, turquoise water, dramatic limestone formations, waves, and open sky gives us several completely different looks without having to leave the area. Depending on the light and conditions, the photographs can feel bright and romantic, dramatic and editorial, or completely relaxed and candid.

For couples who love the ocean but want something with a little more character than an open stretch of sand, Coral Cove is a beautiful option.

Yainelys + Javier

What I love most about this gallery isn’t one particular pose or photograph. It’s the progression of the session.

It starts clean and romantic, becomes playful and adventurous as they move toward the water, and finishes with the two of them completely comfortable together.

Yainelys and Javier, thank you for trusting me to document this part of your story—and for being willing to get a little wet in the process.

Those waves were definitely worth it.
